Why Android and not iPhone?

Fred Wilson had an interesting post titled, “Chrome, Android and the Cloud” suggesting that Google’s strategy is a winner.  I commented in agreement about Android suggesting that I believe that Android is going to be the winning phone platform (over the iPhone).  I suggested that our strategy of Android first and then iPhone is a reflection of this belief.  What are your thoughts?

  1. If Google is going to out place the iPhone then Google better get the word out about android. As know one knows about it! and the marketing machine apple is selling iPhone 24 x 7 on TV, Newspaper and the Web.

  2. Don’t worry… I suspect you will be hearing quite a bit about Android in October.
